Post Having some trouble sleeping - weird dreams
I have something i'd like to ask you guys. Lately when i try to sleep at night, i do manage to fall asleep but fall right into dreaming. It's just like the dreams i usually have (it's not nightmares or something), but with a twist - as soon as i start dreaming everything starts spinning around. So i wake up even more tired than i was before, turn around, fall into the same thing, wake up again, and so on... I have to get up and do something for an hour to get rid of it. I can sleep during the day just fine.

Now, this has been going on for a few years, but it used to happen very seldom, like once every 3 months or so. Now it's more and more frequent.

Any ideas?

Dreaming is a very powerful tool that can help you look into your soul. There were some studies about dream, saying that a repetitive dream may actually have a meaning showed by your subconscious.

If you have been using any brainwave entrainment stuff lately, maybe you should give it a break for a few days to see if it's the problem.

A good website to help you understand your dreams is :

I'm glad that the spinning has stopped, if you experience it again feel free to share it :)

Thanks for the link, i'll look into it.

No, i hadn't been using any brainwave entrainment for over 2 weeks when it started happening, but i think i just had some sleeping issues. A few days later i was constantly waking up at 6:30-7AM even though i was going to sleep at about 1AM, and obviously i was feeling tired all day. This went on for 3 days then everything went back to normal, and i sleep for 8-9 hours and wake up refreshed.

Ah well, also if you were used to go bed earlier this is a good read.

Glad that everything is back to normal for you :)

It's actually the other way round - i have been going to sleep late and sleeping till late for many years, till last year when i started to have school in the morning. Actually i was fine with sleeping 6-7 hours a night during school, but obviously now during holidays i've started sleeping more. So i was kinda surprised that i was waking up at 7AM out of the blue.
